Blending and Maintenance Technician

Position Overview
The primary objective of this role is to execute blending activities and ensure the upkeep of equipment at Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) blending facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily DEF blending operations, including the collection and submission of product samples.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks (such as greasing machinery, monitoring water systems, changing filters and resin beds, and general cleaning) to avert equipment malfunctions.
- Work closely with the DEF Rail Movements Specialist to coordinate the delivery of DEF concentrate via rail cars to the facilities.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues under the guidance of the Assistant Manager, and maintain an inventory of spare parts.
- Adhere to all safety and operational protocols at the blending locations.
- Propose enhancements for DEF plant processes and support the implementation of operational modifications as directed by management.
- Travel to various DEF sites to carry out blending operations as required.
