Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our Nutrition Services team at MultiCare Health System. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing healthy food and nutritional education to patients, families, and visitors at our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks for patients and staff
  • Order and manage food supplies, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the Nutrition Services team to provide exceptional customer service and quality food products
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on culinary techniques and nutrition best practices
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Current Washington State Food Handler's Card required
  • Serve-Safe certification preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years cooking experience in casual to fine dining, hotels, or healthcare settings
