Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retirement Assistant Administrator. This role will provide administrative support for our Everence Retirement Services operations, including annuities, Mennonite Retirement Trust, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate the onboarding of new retirement plans, ensuring seamless communication between advisors and third-party providers.
  2. Develop and maintain expertise in Everence retirement products to assist clients and consultants with account setup, enrollment, and maintenance.
  3. Provide backup support to the Life Administrator as needed.
  4. Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks in MRT, including customer service and account management.
  5. Support the administration of annuities, including new applications, illustrations, and distributions.
  6. Collaborate with the VP of Financial Services Operations on special projects and initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree and prior experience in the financial services industry or retirement plans.
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn additional software programs.
  • Professional retirement certifications are a plus.
