Job Title: Regional Registered Dietitian

At American Senior Communities, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Regional Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall health and quality of life for our residents through the assessment of nutritional status and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized nutritional plans of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor property compliance to Federal and State regulations, as well as Company policies and practices.
  • Work with the Culinary and Nutrition Manager to coordinate nutritional care of residents by completing nutritional assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and documenting nutrition information in medical records.
  • Monitor culinary expenses and collaborate with the Culinary and Nutrition Manager to develop solutions for variances.
  • Communicate concerns or recommendations noted at each visit with property leaders (ED, DNS, etc.).
  • Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
  • Attend continuing education sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Assist with training of new dietitians and dietitian assistants.
  • Travel to different ASC communities within the region.
Qualifications:
  • Must have and maintain current dietitian registration from the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
  • All Registered Dietitians will hold a current certification and/or license in the state(s) in which they are practicing.
  • Preferred: Nutrition documentation experience and one to three years of experience with Long-Term Care and Management in healthcare and food service.
