Job Title: Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team at Consolidated Electrical Distributors. As a Driver, you will be responsible for making local-area deliveries and pick-ups to/from customers and suppliers, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, load, and unload delivery trucks from ground level or platform in various warehouse and construction worksite situations.
  • Inspect and maintain company vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues to direct supervisors.
  • Deliver and pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and do math to accurately access warehouse materials for order picking, deliver orders, and complete paperwork.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
