Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a member of our Cardiovascular Unit, you will provide professional nursing care to out-patients for planned procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Radiology Lab, and various Radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre- and post-procedural care to patients
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
  • Treat a diverse patient population with complex medical conditions
  • Work in a dynamic 15-bay unit with a focus on efficiency and quality care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies

Unit Description: Our Cardiovascular Unit is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires strong communication and teamwork skills. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and procedures, and to contribute to the development of our unit's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Vermont
  • 2+ years of experience in a cardiovascular or critical care setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
