Job Title: Police Officer

California State University is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, and staff on campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol campus buildings and grounds to prevent and detect crime
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Enforce laws and regulations, including traffic and parking regulations
  • Investigate accidents, property damage, and other incidents
  • Prepare reports and testify in court as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Meet the current employment standards of the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) and CSUN Minimum Standards of Employment and Training
  • Be free of any felony convictions and have good moral character
  • Be eligible to be a peace officer in the State of California
  • Successful completion of the California POST Basic Course required
