PVC Extrusion Die Technician

- Set up and maintain pipe dies for production, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
- Assist in start-up of pipe dies and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Use measuring instruments and tools to ensure precise measurements and quality control.
- Fill out reports and forms as required, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Start extrusion lines from 1/4" pipe to 16" PVC and CPVC lines, meeting all required specifications and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Die Shop Supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 18 years of age minimum.
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment; experience with extrusion and plastics an asset.
- Ability to read, write, and perform advanced mathematics.
- Proficient in operating a forklift truck, pallet truck, and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts, 84 hours bi-weekly.
- Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing, bending, and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Fast-paced environment with considerable sensory attention required.
