Financial Reporting Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area. This role will involve hybrid work arrangements, with 3 days in the office and flexible scheduling. The position also offers a quarterly bonus based on EPS performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with monthly consolidation of dealership subsidiaries, including journal entry consolidation, rollforward preparation, research, and problem-solving.
  • Prepare monthly senior management and Board of Directors communications, including operational, P&L, and balance sheet analysis.
  • Prepare SEC filings, including comparative financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A.
  • Support annual audit and quarterly reviews, including schedule preparation and answering questions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to achieve Financial Reporting goals.
  • Perform accounting policy research, support, and implementation.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of combined public accounting and/or financial reporting experience.
  • Attention to detail, organized, self-motivated, and adaptable.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and teamwork skills.
  • CPA designation or in a position to earn CPA designation within one to two years.
  • Fundamental computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel.
