Position Overview: Soliant is in search of a committed and empathetic School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a part of our team. This role is essential in assisting students with speech and language challenges, thereby enhancing their communication abilities and overall educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations to assess students' speech and language skills.
  • Create tailored treatment strategies to meet each student's communication objectives.
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to students experiencing speech and language difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to address students' communication requirements within the educational setting.
  • Track student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain precise and current documentation and reports.
  • Engage in IEP meetings and assist in formulating students' Individualized Education Programs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid state license or eligibility to secure licensure in California.
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
  • Experience with school-aged children is advantageous, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for aiding children in overcoming communication obstacles.
