Your Role:
You are a passionate and driven AI Engineer with a solid grounding in AI and ML principles and practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Architecting, developing, and implementing AI and ML models and systems to address intricate business challenges.
- Partnering with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to outline project requirements, create technical specifications, and ensure the effective execution of AI solutions.
- Conducting data analysis, preprocessing, and feature engineering to prepare datasets for AI/ML models.
- Training, validating, and optimizing AI/ML models, ensuring they fulfill performance and accuracy standards.
- Deploying AI models into operational environments and monitoring their performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain peak functionality.
- Documenting AI models, algorithms, and methodologies to guarantee reproducibility and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Ensuring AI solutions comply with ethical standards, data privacy regulations, and industry benchmarks.
- Leading the creation of advanced AI solutions that enhance our products and services.
- Learning from and being guided by seasoned developers, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute AI-centric roadmaps.
- Enhancing existing systems and crafting new solutions through cutting-edge AI technologies.
- Guaranteeing the successful deployment and optimal performance of AI models in operational settings.
- Contributing to the evolution of our AI capabilities and sustaining our leadership in technological innovation.
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of practical experience in AI and ML, with a proven interest in deploying AI solutions in a production context.
- Proficiency in contemporary programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Knowledge of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be part of Synopsys' Generative AI Center of Excellence, which shapes the technology strategy to advance Generative AI applications across the organization. The GenAI COE pioneers core technologies - platforms, processes, data, and foundational models - to enable generative AI solutions and collaborates with business units and corporate functions to drive AI-focused initiatives.
