Job Title: Warehouse AssociateA.I.D. Temporary Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our production goals and overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform tasks and provide services to support the plant's production goals, overall business plans, and objectives as directed.
- Operate forklift during routine performance of duties.
- Unload, receive, inspect, and stage raw materials, scrap, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies.
- Remove finished products from the production areas ensuring proper identification, banding, and labeling to meet customer specifications.
- Responsible for replenishing supplies in assigned areas.
- Review warehouse production planning schedule to determine duties for shipping and receiving.
- Ensure finished goods are properly documented for shipment.
- Stage and load finished goods and materials in accordance with warehouse and production planning schedule.
- Coordinate all processed scrap materials at bins and hoppers.
- Conduct inspection of assigned equipment.
- Communicate to management any machine malfunctions.
- Perform record keeping duties as required under the direction of management.
- Communicate pertinent information.
- Perform clean-up, painting, and housekeeping duties.
- Initiate, review, and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.
- High School Diploma or education equivalent required.
- Job-related experience for 1 year minimum.
- Ability to apply standard evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard material handling techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
- Ability to pass an approved forklift test.
- Works in a manufacturing environment.
- This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to, high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
- Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices.
