Optum NY is seeking an Ophthalmologist to join our team in Lake Success, NY. As a member of our Optum Care Delivery team, you'll be part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. Our collegial multispecialty group practice features a large referral base, focus on team-based care, and excellent support staff and dedicated practice management systems. You'll have access to privileges in ambulatory surgical centers and community hospitals. Position Highlights:
  • Collegial multispecialty group practice with a large referral base

  • Adult and pediatric patient population
Responsibilities:
  • Practice comprehensive ophthalmology with fellowship trained physicians that specialize in small-incision cataract surgery, screening and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, floaters, central serous retinopathy, and inflammatory eye diseases
  • Clinicians in this department will have access to privileges in ambulatory surgical centers and community hospitals
