Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Expert Mill and Lathe Machinist to join our team at Strategic Systems.

Estimated Salary: $32,000 - $45,000 per year

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of manual Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL) and other manual lathes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate manual control machines based on part configuration
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions, and specifications
  • Understand and comply with industry regulations
  • Read and follow blueprints or original components to manufacture new parts
  • Clean machinery and equipment as needed
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years' experience in Mill and Lathe Machine setup and operation
  • Strong analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail
  • Able to complete tasks in a fast-paced job shop environment
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications: Overhead crane operation experience is a plus.
