Role Overview

As a 2nd Press Operator at Orora Visual, you will collaborate closely with lead operators in the press area. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting with make-readies, operating press equipment, and upholding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Press Operator with make-ready tasks and operate the press according to established guidelines.
  • Ensure all jobs adhere to customer specifications and are completed within deadlines.
  • Confirm that stock and inks are consistent with job requirements.
  • Execute press make-ready, folder setups, and maintain press registration and color accuracy.
  • Implement quality control procedures in line with Orora press Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collect and label samples according to Orora press SOPs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2 to 4 years of experience as a Second Press Operator. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, be capable of working independently or as part of a team, and be available for evening and weekend shifts as necessary. Additionally, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally is required.
