Job Summary

This critical care nurse position offers the opportunity to work with patients who require life-sustaining technologies, such as ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills, as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Manage life-sustaining technologies, including ventilation management, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and interventions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
  • RN license in good standing, current ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • ACLS certification, TNCC, CCRN, PCCN, and other specialized certifications a plus.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments and make sound decisions quickly.
