We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing Tenant Improvement projects and new development projects, managing the construction process, and maintaining positive relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Tenant Improvement projects and new development projects.
  • Manage the construction process, identifying and solving problems that arise.
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and employees.
  • Work with local municipalities to ensure proper permitting and inspections.
  • Help establish and maintain project schedules, including start, progress, and completion schedules.
  • Hold subcontractors accountable for their performance.
  • Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts as they relate to each individual trade involved in the construction of the project.
  • Ensure completion of all final punch lists and projects are completed before final payment and/or occupancy.
  • Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
  • Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to speak in public with a wide variety of people.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), QuickBooks, Yardi, or other property management software.
