Internal Medicine/Geriatric Position in a Medical Group
Medicorp, Inc. is seeking a Geriatrician, Internist, or Family Medicine Physician with a strong interest in Geriatrics to join our team of 4 Physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a Medical Group.
- Practice Options: Our Geriatrician will have the opportunity to work primarily in post-acute care/rehab and long-term care facilities, with a 35-40 hour workweek.
- Optional Primary Care Clinic Practice: Our Geriatrician will have the option to work 1-2 half days per week in a primary care clinic setting, in addition to in-patient hospital rounds in a teaching hospital.
- Call Schedule: Our Geriatrician will have a 1:4 call schedule, with APP assistance.
- Medical Directorship: Our Geriatrician will have the opportunity to serve as Medical Director for Post-acute and Skilled Nursing Facilities, if qualified.
Other Key Points:
- Medical Staff Privileges: Our Geriatrician will have medical staff privileges at Brown and Boston University Medical School affiliated hospitals.
- Opportunity for Partnership: Our Geriatrician will have the opportunity to partner with our Medical Group.
- Compensation: Our Geriatrician will receive a base salary of $230,000+, depending on qualifications and experience, with the possibility of a production bonus based on case load, productivity, and quality metrics.
- Potential for Growth: Our Geriatrician will have the opportunity to grow with our Medical Group, with a current physician making over $400,000 annually working 45-50 hours per week.
