Production Worker

The Production Worker - Cylinder Exchange is a critical role within the AmeriGas team, responsible for the processing of propane cylinders in the outside production area of the Cylinder Exchange facility.

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain a safety focus at all times, adhering to company safety procedures and policies, and wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Load filled cylinders onto the truck(s) for the next day's shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions with attention to detail.
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team, demonstrating high professional and personal standards.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to stand and walk 8 – 12 hours per day, and lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Willingness to grow and learn, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Environmental conditions such as wind, rain, ice, and snow may affect this job, as the production area is not enclosed.
