Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. As an OB Acute RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in obstetric nursing.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential risks and near misses.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year - Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
