Job Title: Cath Lab Technician

Job Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization (Registered/Certified)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day - 5x8, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience

License: RCIS or ARRT

Certifications: BLS & ACLS

Must-Have:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Description:

  • Work in a multidisciplinary lab, supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures.
  • Perform scrub and monitoring duties, utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment, while applying prescribed procedures for the operation of radiology imaging equipment.
  • Maintain the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with procedures occurring Monday to Friday.
  • Be available for on-call duties during nights/weekends as required, with a residence within 25 miles of the facility.
  • Utilize skills in cardiac, electrophysiology, catheterization, imaging, and radiology.
  • Hold a degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or possess years of equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in English: Speak, read, and write fluently.
