Punch Foreman Job Description

The Punch Foreman is a key role in our construction team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination and management of punchout lists and items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage punchout activities, including maintaining the finish progress schedule and coordinating material deliveries.
  • Communicate daily with the Lead Superintendent/Superintendent on punchout activities, issues, and progress.
  • Work with the Finish Superintendent to ensure punchout lists, delivery schedules, and quality are maintained.
  • Assist with completing punch lists and delivering units.
  • Maintain and enforce jobsite safety and security measures.
  • Close the building after every workday, including windows, doors, and project gates.
  • Assist with temporary safety rails, plastic over windows, plywood doors, and signs.
  • Problem solve and handle conflict resolution related to field activities.
  • Assist with maintaining the punchout crash cart with proper supplies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of multi-family field management experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and understand direction.
  • Experience organizing assigned duties.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and a safety-conscious individual.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail and deadline-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Interaction with Other Employees and the Public:

This role requires extensive interaction with team members, subcontractors, and operations personnel. The employee must have the ability to both give and receive direction.

The employee is a key representative of the company and is expected to work well with others and always exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor.

Physical Demands:

The majority of the required work will be performed in the field. At times, the working conditions may be challenging and involve wide variations in weather and physical environment.

The employee may be exposed to wet, cold, hot, and noisy conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to extensive walking, climbing, sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.

Other:

This role requires daily travel to and from project sites. A valid driver's license is required.
