Job Summary

Prisma Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures as directed by the radiologist and in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Position patients accurately and safely for CT procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, allergies, and medication lists.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification in CT.
  • Current CPR certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely, as well as operate imaging equipment and other medical devices.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
