Job Description:
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day care to residents and home-bound patients, promoting ethical and evidence-based decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Provide complex and geriatric care to residents and patients across settings in partnership with non-physician practitioners and interprofessional team members
- Engage with facility leadership teams, nurse practitioners, patients, and families
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants (up to 15) to support their clinical roles
- Audit practitioner medical orders and documentation (up to 10% monthly)
- Assume medical directorships for skilled and senior living facilities
- Identify new growth opportunities with skilled facilities and senior living facilities
- Participate in company call processes for timely response to acute changes of condition
- Maintain high focus on quality outcomes, including care path compliance and productivity
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and Doctor of Medicine
- Two or more years of administrative leadership experience in healthcare
- Clinical medical experience of seven years or more preferred
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics; qualification in Geriatrics preferred
- Active unrestricted licensure to practice in state of employment
Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary range of $187,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year.
