We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineering Expert to join our team at Tesla. As a key member of our process design team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing chemical and utility systems that meet the highest safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement chemical and utility systems that meet the highest safety and efficiency standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process designs, including PFDs, P&IDs, and Basis of Design documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of process design into manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct regular process hazard evaluations and HAZOP reviews to identify potential risks and mitigate them.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence to all relevant codes and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in chemical process design, process improvement, or operations, with emphasis on design of new installations.
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices and regulatory requirements, with ability to apply this knowledge to real-world situations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, and Pipe-Flo, with ability to learn and adapt to new software applications.
