Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive assessments, including physiological, psychological, and environmental factors.
- Utilize appropriate techniques and materials to provide safe and effective care.
- Develop, evaluate, and revise patient care goals in conjunction with the patient and family.
- Act as a patient advocate and seek assistance when necessary.
- Coordinate goal-directed, cost-effective care for primary patients and demonstrate appropriate use of community resources.
- Communicate with MDs, families, and interdisciplinary care providers to clarify care and increase awareness of significant changes in condition.
- Discharge patients when goals are met and participate in formal and informal case conferences.
- Graduation from an approved school of physical therapy.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
- At least one year's experience as a registered therapist in a rehabilitation or acute care setting.
