Are you a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at the Florida Department of Health in Osceola.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing services in a public health setting. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Community Health Nursing Supervisor and be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering prescribed medications, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing services in a public health setting
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medical records
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Florida or multistate license
- Valid Florida Driver's License and willingness to travel to other sites in Osceola County
- At least one year of experience in primary care, family planning, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV health, hospital settings, or outpatient clinical settings
- Willingness to work during or beyond regular hours in emergency situations
