We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Barbers Hill ISD. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing heating and air conditioning systems and equipment throughout the district.

• Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all HVAC systems in district facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment, and replacing filters and other components as needed.
• Diagnose and repair complex HVAC system issues, including those related to refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Install new HVAC equipment and systems, including ductwork, vents, and controls.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure that all HVAC systems are functioning properly and efficiently.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Ability to communicate professionally and work cooperatively as a team member.
• Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written reference material.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally).

• Five years' experience in commercial HVAC field.
• Chiller & Boiler maintenance and repair.
• Pump motors; vertical/horizontal 3-30hp.
