Job Title: Perioperative Circulator RN

OU Health - 700 NE 13th is seeking a skilled Perioperative Circulator RN to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room.

Job Summary:

The Perioperative Circulator RN is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering nursing care to patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on patient needs and surgical procedures.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation and documentation of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in departmental orientation and training programs to maintain current knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of AORN Standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing excellent specialized care.
