Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing assessments and direct care to our residents. This includes administering medications, overseeing and monitoring care performed by assigned staff, and ensuring the quality of care given to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Provide skilled nursing assessments and direct care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Oversee and monitor care performed by assigned staff
- Ensure the quality of care given to residents
- Participate in resident care planning and coordination
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Alaska
- Minimum of one year experience in Gerontology, preferably in a Long Term Care facility
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to complete computer documentation
- Obtain and maintain competency in IV therapy
