Comptroller Lead

We are seeking an experienced Comptroller to join our team at Hydradry Inc in Apopka, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all accounting operations and financial transactions.

• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and consolidate financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
• General Ledger Management: Oversee the management of the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting departments.
• Analysis and Reporting: Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
• Budget Coordination: Coordinate or assist with the budget process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Research and Compliance: Research accounting issues to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze and report cost variances, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Auditor Liaison: Serve as a liaison to external auditors, facilitating a smooth audit process.
• Supervision: Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting departments, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a leadership role.
• Skills: Advanced knowledge of GAAP, Excel, and accounting software.
