Job Description

This is a full-time, regular employment opportunity with Ryder System. As a Solo Class A CDL Truck Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering freight safely and efficiently to designated locations
  • Loading and unloading freight as required by customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid Class A CDL license
  • At least 21 years of age
  • A minimum of 9 months' experience within the past 3 years driving a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
