Position Overview:

As a Senior Python Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the analysis and development of applications on the Quartz trading platform. Your expertise will support various regulatory mandates while collaborating with multiple teams to enhance functionalities related to alternate rate indexes and FRTB initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and development of applications to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the migration of MRS risk sensitivities and P/L explanations to the target CPRT platform.
  • Drive and participate in the design and development of complex applications.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a quick-thinking approach to technology challenges.
  • Extensive experience with design and architectural patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with modern technologies, including API management, REST/API integration, Containers, and Microservices.
  • Familiarity with Web UI technologies such as Angular and Spring, along with CI/CD tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team environment.
  • Understanding of various financial instruments, including interest rate swaps, FX swaps, and bonds.
  • Knowledge of key Quartz components such as Sandra, Bob, and Hugs.
