Trinity Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Career Quality Inspector in our Cartersville GA office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our railcar manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough visual and measured inspections of products to guarantee conformance with established standards.
  • Determine whether products meet all requirements by inspecting incoming materials, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Utilize inspection tools and/or measuring equipment to ensure compliance with Trinity Industries' policy and procedures.
  • Apply quality processes and tools under the guiding rules of the AAR and FRA.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to work Day or Night shift.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • NDT Level II certification for assigned discipline within the first 12 months.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations within the rail industry.
  • The ability to read drawings and blueprints.
  • A basic knowledge of operational functions to be inspected.
  • The ability to perform and oversee visual and measured inspections using various measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
