Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at Inovair, a leading manufacturer of high-performance automotive and industrial products. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for preparing and communicating production plans and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans based on forecast requirements, inventory levels, and management expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and inventory control, to ensure seamless production processes.
- Prepare and issue work orders to support production schedules and maintain accurate material requirements planning (MRP) data.
- Monitor and analyze material shortages, order progress, and adjust plans and schedules as necessary to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Inovair's systems for managing work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods (FG) inventory.
- Communicate daily with production team, quality department, and management to prioritize tasks, resolve delivery or quality issues, and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Work closely with all levels and functional areas of the organization to drive process improvements and maximize resource utilization.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of related planning/scheduling experience or relevant certification (CPIM, CIRM, or CPM).
- Demonstrated MRP knowledge and experience with Windows Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced and demanding manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
