Job Title: Registered Nurse
Department: Intensive Care Unit
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Tampa General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team, including vital signs, lab results, and other relevant information.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- At least 1 year of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
