Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital. As a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a procedural environment, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra, and post procedure.
  • Assist physicians in operative procedures.
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • One to three years' experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
