Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Scan Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Easton Campus. As a Weekend CT Scan Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Radiologists during invasive procedures and perform CT scan examinations as directed.
  • Communicate clinical observations and present patient history to Radiologists.
  • Demonstrate competency in RIS/HIS modules and inject contrast for CT scans.
  • Provide educational information to patients and maintain responsibility for own professional development.
  • Accurately adhere to downtime procedures and ensure continuity of care for patients.
  • Verify patient information and ensure accuracy of digital images sent to PACS.
  • Responsible for quality of digital images and assist in gathering data for Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Program.
  • Schedule patients for CT scans and assist with secretarial duties.
  • Maintain necessary inventory of supplies and appearance of CT Scan Room.
  • Responsible for teaching radiology students rotating through CT Scan.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or AART registered or ARRT registry eligible radiography program.
  • Pass registry within 1 year of hire date.
  • One-year staff technologist experience and recent CT Scan experience preferred.
  • Advanced CT registry required and current CPR certification.
