Job Title: Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

The Center for Pediatric Therapies is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children with speech and language disorders, working collaboratively with our team of occupational therapists, physical therapists, and service coordinators.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat children with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, and feeding skills
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Virginia license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or actively pursuing licensure
  • ASHA certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience working with children with speech and language disorders (preferred)

The Center for Pediatric Therapies is a full-service outpatient clinic serving children from birth to age 21 in Southside Virginia. We offer a multidisciplinary approach to treat a variety of neurological and developmental disorders. Our services are delivered in the most appropriate environment for the child, whether that is in the home, daycare, school, or one of our outpatient facilities.
