Sanitation Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sanitation Technician to join our team at our Britt, Iowa facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to strict sanitation and quality control procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain effective cleaning and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
• Operate and maintain equipment, including pumps, presses, and breakers, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production staff to identify and address any sanitation or quality control issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement training programs to educate coworkers on sanitation procedures and best practices.
• Participate in quality control initiatives to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.
• Assist with production needs as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.

Requirements:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment preferred.
