ResourceMFG is seeking an Electric Assembler, also referred to as a Mechanical Production Operator, for a prominent global battery manufacturing company. This role is located in a controlled environment, ideal for those with a background in electronic or mechanical assembly.
Weekend Shift Details:
- Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 5 PM to 5 AM (Compensated for 40 hours)
Training:
- Initial training will occur Monday to Thursday from 3 PM to 1:30 AM for approximately one week.
Compensation:
- Starting Pay: $18.75 per hour (with a potential increase to $19.75 after 90 days of employment)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in electronic or mechanical assembly is required. Experience as a naval technician is preferred.
- Candidates must possess basic mechanical skills, along with the ability to interpret charts, graphs, and schematics. A working knowledge of weights and measurements is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble cell pairs and modules.
- Construct a variety of products, ranging from unique single-piece units to repetitive unit runs.
- Perform rework on assembled components.
- Maintain accurate build documentation records with a high level of precision.
- Conduct Quality Assurance functions.
- Work with live cells, modules, and batteries.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Solid mechanical aptitude.
- Basic understanding of DC electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and comprehend mechanical assembly drawings and process specifications.
- Proficient in operating various hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions:
- Class 10,000 clean room environment with controlled temperature and humidity.
- Safety glasses and steel-toe shoes are mandatory.
- Physical requirements include standing (75%), sitting (25%), and working with a computer (25%).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
