Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

* Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
* Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
* Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
* Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
* National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification
* Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
* The ability to stand for extended periods.
* Strong technical skills.
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* Requires a minimum of two years of RN Telemetry experience.
* Two years of current RN Emergency Room experience
* Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
* Active unencumbered RN New York state license
* One year of Epic experience

* Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
* Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
* Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
* Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
* A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
* Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements:

* COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
