Key Responsibilities of the Global Tax Strategy Leader include:

  • Oversee external partners in the preparation of precise non-U.S. income tax provisions, adhering to U.S. GAAP ASC 740 standards.
  • Coordinate the filing of income tax returns for international entities, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Evaluate U.S. international reporting requirements (including Form 5471 and 8858) and calculations for foreign tax credits.
  • Manage audits related to non-U.S. income tax and address uncertain tax positions.
  • Stay informed on developments in non-U.S. tax legislation and support tax planning initiatives.
  • Direct Transfer Pricing strategies while maintaining non-U.S. Tax Accounts.
  • Review non-U.S. tax journal entries as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting is essential.
  • A CPA license is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of relevant international tax experience in progressively responsible roles.
  • Proven experience in long-term tax planning and audit defense.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting for income tax under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience in Transfer Pricing is required.
  • Experience within a multinational corporation is essential.
