Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Mammography to join our team at RadNet. This is an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mammographic equipment and other devices while adhering to established protocols and policies.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner, prioritizing patient care and comfort.
  • Understand and apply compression, exposure modes, filter, KVp, MAS, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection, and other adjustments to optimize image quality.
  • Maintain patients' well-being during exams, recognizing discomfort or medical issues and taking appropriate action.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and questions regarding exam procedures.
  • Respond to physician queries and needs regarding patient information.

Requirements:

  • ARRT (R) (M) certification
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
  • BLS certification
  • Preferred: At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000-$85,000, depending on location and experience.
