Job Summary:
Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective hemodialysis therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on chronic/acute hemodialysis.
- Successful completion of Fresenius Medical Care's education and training program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
