We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach classes in Psychology at the College of Lake County. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with students from diverse backgrounds.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology. You will be responsible for teaching courses in subject matter, developing instructional materials, assessing student learning, and assigning grades.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will participate in college governance, contribute to program advisory boards, and maintain current knowledge of subject matter.
About the SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
About the LocationClasses will be taught in person in Grayslake, Waukegan, or Vernon Hills, as well as online via Canvas. The College of Lake County is located in northeastern Illinois and is easily accessible by car or public transportation.
