Job Summary:The Radiology Imaging Specialist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, provide technical support for radiographic examinations, and maintain equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Perform basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by licensed physicians.
- Provide technical support for radiographic examinations, including assessing patient condition and operating imaging equipment.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and medications in a safe and efficient manner.
- Rotate through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology, including OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
- Assist practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma.
- Formal two-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
- State license (if required).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) certification.
- CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association certification.
- At least two years of experience in an acute care setting.
- Guaranteed hours for travel contracts.
- Preferred booking agreement for local contracts.
- Weekly pay.
- Holiday pay.
- Contract security compared to a contract with an outside agency.
