Compensation Structure:
The Technician role features a compensation structure that includes a Base Hourly Rate ranging from $15.50 to $27.00. Additionally, there may be a performance-based production bonus, which can vary based on individual or team achievements, with no fixed upper limit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough vehicle maintenance inspections and repairs in accordance with Volkswagen's standards.
- Relay accurate vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the Service Advisor.
- Complete required Volkswagen training, both online and at designated training facilities.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- A collaborative team player dedicated to exceptional customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles.
- Proficiency in computer operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Previous experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Capability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift over 75 pounds.
