Job Title: EMT Specialist

Suburban EMS is seeking a highly skilled EMT Specialist to join our team. As an EMT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to patients in need.

Job Summary:

The EMT Specialist will respond to emergency calls, administer basic and advanced life support, and provide patient care in a pre-hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emergency medical procedures and protocols, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administer basic and advanced life support, including CPR and defibrillation.
  • Assess patient condition and provide medical care as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • State of Pennsylvania Advanced EMT certification required.
  • Pennsylvania-approved certification for CPR for the Professional Rescuer and/or American Heart Association BLS CPR and AED for the Healthcare Professionals required.
  • Required continuing medical education credits as set forth by the State EMS office.
  • EMSVO certification.
  • Hazardous Materials R&I.
  • NIMS 100, 200 and 700.
  • Valid driver's license.
