Job Opportunity

Adecco Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in the Keene, NH area. This is a full-time, contract-hire position.

Shifts and Pay:

1st Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Thursday, $20-23/hour

2nd Shift: 3:30pm-2:00am, Monday-Thursday, $21-26/hour

Job Responsibilities

As a CNC Machinist in our Optical Fabrication department, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce high-precision optical components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work from engineering drawings and process work instructions to produce high-precision optical components.
  • Set up and operate CNC diamond turning, CNC grinding, or CNC polishing machines to support the production schedule.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data for production processes, requiring basic math and statistical knowledge.
  • Manually clean optical surfaces using wipes and solvents.
  • Utilize metrology equipment to verify conformance of optical components to high-precision specifications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills for entering data, reviewing process documentation, and operating computer-controlled equipment.
  • Ability to set up and run CNC manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to perform measurements on high-precision components.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant machining production experience.
  • May require occasional heavy lifting or movement of objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Involves exposure to chemicals and solvents.
  • Must read, speak, and understand English written instructions and documentation.
